VinSolutions ended 2017 with 20 percent revenue growth, and it now serves nearly 5,000 dealerships nationwide. In an interview with the Kansas City Business Journal, VinSolutions General Manager and Cox Automotive Retail Dealer Solutions Senior Vice President Lori Wittman attributed the growth to several key aspects of the business:

- Close tracking of shifts in the industry and needs of dealers, including the growth of dealer groups and the need for a single view of the customer
