Q: What emerging trends are having the biggest impact on the industry right now?
Robert DeGeorge: The industry has seen a surge in artificial intelligence (AI) technologies, such as machine learning and deep learning. We’ll see a lot of AI at NADA this year, and I’m looking forward to showing dealers how Cox Automotive’s technology can help them anticipate the needs of their consumers.
Q: What are you most excited to talk with dealers about at the show this year?
A: Customer retention and vehicle acquisition remains on the minds of dealers, and we have some innovative solutions to help. Also, I’m looking forward to showing dealers our new solution Retail360 Deal, and how our consumer insights, aggregated from Autotrader and Kelley Blue Book and delivered directly in the deal workflow, can help them sell to any type of shopper.
Q: What is your biggest piece of advice to dealers for starting 2024 off strong?
A: Customers are our biggest asset. Do everything in your power to ensure that you’re consistently delivering an unrivaled shopper experience. One way to accomplish this is by implementing solutions that automatically engage your customers with personalized offers the moment they re-enter the market.
Q: What is your favorite thing about NADA?
