Free Online Training Classes as of Feb. 15th 2010.
General Information
Registration Instructions:
Registration is limited to 8 people per class. It is advised to register at least a day before for classes.
If you do not register in advance there is no guarantee that you will get in to the class.
Login Instructions:
Classes are open to log in 10 minutes prior to class start time.
Login at least 5 minutes before classes begin. All classes start promptly at scheduled time.
Having Trouble/Questions Instructions:
If this is the first time you have used Webex or have any trouble logging in please contact the host.
(Call (913) 825-6300 and ask for your host.) If it is 10 minutes or less before the class starts you will have to contact
the host through the conference line.
Cancelation Information:
If no one is registered for classes then they are subject to cancelation.
Classes are also canceled if attendees have not arrived by the scheduled time.
Class Information
Admin Activity Alerts:
This class requires ADMIN level access to VinSolutions and either an ILM or CRM system.
The admin activity alerts class goes over how to properly set up alerts/notifications for the whole dealership.
We will cover everything from the individual user’s settings to the sales processes alerts and the most common problems.
This is a perfect class for people who are having troubles setting up receiving or setting up alerts.
It is advisable to take the sales process training course first but not required.
Beginner Admin Training 1 of 2:
The beginner admin training requires ADMIN level access to VinSolutions. This course, in two parts covers the basic
dealer settings and set up of the ILM or CRM account. This course is great for the new admin or newly purchased account.
Class covers “Dealer Settings,” “My Settings,” “User List,” and “Dealer Hours.”
Beginner Admin Training 2 of 2:
The Beginner Admin Training requires ADMIN level access to VinSolutions. This course, in two parts, covers the basic
dealer settings and set up of the ILM or CRM account. This course is great for the new admin or newly purchased account.
Class covers some of the settings in the “Lead Settings,” “Add Customer Settings,” “Customer Assignments by Rep,”
“Leads Source List,” “Stationeries,” “Letter Settings,” “Sales Goals,” “Task Count List,” “Dealer Videos,” “Hyperlinks,”
“RO OpCodes” and Billing information.
BDC Training:
BDC Training is designed for BD Agents of MANAGER or ADMIN access levels. This class explains a few of the basic processes
of a full CRM system. This course covers a few of the daily activities of a BD Agent including how to handle tasks, searching
for customers, and making appointment of other users.
Distribution or Bulk Mail:
The distribution course is available to all access levels and covers how to easily bulk mail and mass market to your customer base.
Craigslist & eBay Training:
Prerequisite class is the Basic Inventory Training. The Craigslist and eBay course covers how to get and download the software for Craigslist.
We will go over the system requirements and settings for both features. The class also covers how to post vehicles on to both sites.
CRM Overview:
This class is designed for MANAGER level access or higher. This course covers the basic overview and simple functionality of the
Customer Relationship Management tool. This is a great class for those who just signed up for a CRM and have no previous experience with them.
CRM Advanced Desking & Trade Appraisal Training:
This course requires either Manager or Admin level access, the full CRM service and the Desking module. This course covers how to work a deal for a
customer. It goes over details on penciling in Advanced Desking and creating Multiple Purchase/Lease scenarios for a customer. How to modifying
existing deals, printing worksheets, adding trades and doing trade valuations using KBB, NADA, Black Book and VinSolutions Market Pricing Tool.
Admin Desking Settings:
The Admin CRM Desking settings course requires ADMIN level access to VinSolutions and the full CRM service with Advanced Desking Tool. This
course covers the defaults, taxes, and printing options for the CRM Desking tool.
Basic ILM Overview:
This course is designed for MANAGERS and ADMINS who are new to the VinSolutions ILM software. This course goes through the very simple and
basic parts needed to run the system with the defaults as they are set. This course is great for the beginner ILM customers who have no idea where to start.
Inventory or DIY Training:
This course is for those with MANAGER or ADMIN level access. The inventory course covers the basic reading and navigation of the inventory module, editing
and adding vehicles. This class also covers vehicle valuations, building inventory view and some inventory reports.
Admin Lead Assignment:
The admin lead assignment course is for those persons with ADMIN level access. This course covers how to set lead assignment rules correctly and how to insure
that leads go to those they are set to. Also covered are common errors.
Manager 1: Viewing & Training:
The Manager 1 course is available to MANAGER and ADMIN level access. It is designed for those managers that are new to VinSolutions and the MotoSnap software.
This course covers both ILM and CRM screens under the manager’s dashboard tab. That includes dealer dashboard, customizing dashboard views, showroom activity,
end visits, desk log, trade log, My Wish List, viewing salesperson activities and message log.
ILM/CRM Reporting:
This course is for MANAGER level access or higher. The class covers some of the helpful reports found in the VinSolutions system and how to build a custom
report.
Sales 1:
This course is available to those with SALES level access or higher and is designed with the new hire in mind. The Beginner Sales course covers logging in,
reading the task page, and adding a customer. It also covers finding, view, and sorting leads, appointments, and personal settings.
Sales 2:
This course is available to those with SALES level access or higher and is designed with the new hire in mind. The sales two training covers editing a
customer’s information, lead information, add & edit vehicle information, vehicles of interest, adding & editing a trade, activity icons, mini icons,
value and My Wish List.
Admin Templates & Sales Processes:
This class is for those with ADMIN level access. Template Training covers how to add, edit and delete templates so that it will not disrupt the sales
process. Then Sales Process Training covers how to take the templates and create and customize your dealership follow-up process. This course covers how to
set up a new process rules and how to edit/modify an existing process. Also covered is how to create events and edit existing ones.
VinSolutions Website Training:
This course is designed for those users, MANAGER level or higher, who have a VinSolutions supported website. The class covers how to navigate, edit and update the site.
